About the Class:

Do you feel lost in the hustle to get your foot in the animation industry? Feel like you’re throwing everything at the wall and nothing’s sticking? It’s frustrating, but knowing who you are, what you want, and what you have to give will help… or at least having an idea (since we’re all a work-in-progress)!

In this 1-hour workshop, you will define what success looks like for YOU (because everyone is different!), make a game plan with simplified steps to reach your goals, and learn how to talk about yourself and what you have to offer without feeling like an imposter. Remember to bring a notebook/sketchbook and a writing utensil because we will be brainstorming on paper so you can leave with a rough game plan to refine at home!

Workshop hosted by writer, cartoonist, and “Ink and Paint Girls” podcast host, Cassie Soliday.

About the Class:

Ever wonder what goes on in the writers room? Or how a writing team is able to bust out 50 or more episode ideas for a single season of 11-minute episodes and on an intense production schedule? This and more will be covered in this Writing for TV Animation workshop led by freelance writer, script coordinator, and “Ink and Paint Girls” podcast host, Cassie Soliday. Learn about the differences for writing on script-driven shows vs some storyboard-driven shows, how you can use a production pipeline to speed up your personal writing process, and general paths you can take to become a writer in TV Animation. Be sure to bring a notebook/sketchbook, and writing utensil to take notes!

Workshop hosted by writer, cartoonist, and “Ink and Paint Girls” podcast host, Cassie Soliday.
